READ BEYOND THE HEADLINE
Our sources.
Our approach.
Primary guidance and patient information, with clear distinctions between clinical evidence and provider advertising.

How to read this website
We summarise patient information in plain language and place source links beside medical claims. Guidelines and professional statements provide context for evidence and limitations. Provider websites establish that a service is publicly described; their marketing is not proof of safety, effectiveness, credentials, or current availability.
The SOGC guideline and ACOG opinion were accessed through their PubMed abstracts. We do not claim access to their paywalled full text. International patient resources inform general explanations, not Canadian prices, insurance rules, or regulatory status.

Public provider research
The provider directory links directly to the four public pages checked for this build. Published claims vary and should be verified with the treating clinician.
Editorial principles
- Use medically accurate terms and acknowledge normal anatomical variation.
- Explain material risks and uncertainty without shame or pressure.
- Do not promise bleeding, restored virginity, improved sexual function, or a guaranteed match.
- Separate educational information from any individual treatment recommendation.
